單打王嗆Kobe：1對1我能贏

很多湖人球員被問到能否1對1中擊敗布萊恩（Kobe Bryant），被譽為單打王的尼克楊（Nick Young）率先點頭。

尼克楊的說法很搞笑：「可能我可以，不過我不會讓他有這種感覺，因為我還得和他搭檔。他依舊得給我傳球，所以我會說會贏的是他。不過打心眼裡說，我們兩個誰會贏，我們兩個心裡都有數。」

不只如此，尼克楊在隊內對抗賽上，甚至以下犯上，朝布萊恩大噴垃圾話。

對於尼克楊的這種「態度」，布萊恩大部分時間不予理會，不過一旦在防守被吹犯規後，他也會忍不住回噴垃圾話，「他打得很好，但我在另外一個層次上，我要停下來等等他才行。我噴垃圾話是因為當你累了的時候，你的精神會有所懈怠，而噴垃圾話可以有助於你集中精神。」

對於和布萊恩一起訓練，尼克楊也表達了自己的看法，「這很重要，就像我所說的那樣，和科比這樣的球員每天在一起訓練，他能教導你。同時他也能夠看到你身上的一些東西，這種相互之間推動促進的感覺非常棒。」
