台灣自殺防治學會理事長李明濱8日表示，該會最近調查發現，逾八成民眾認為「自殺是不負責任的行為」、「自殺是自私的行為」，這些負面的評價恐造成當事人感到受傷而不願求助，因此今年世界自殺防治日的主題就是「汙名化，自殺防治的重大阻礙」，希望國人對自殺要破除偏見，勇於提供協助。
