花旗集團面臨交易營收大幅下滑的問題，可能導致本季獲利不如預期。

金融時報引述熟悉花旗營運人士報導，美國資產第三大的銀行花旗集團，可能與其他大型債券交易商一樣，因今年夏季債市交易出乎意料冷清而交出第3季交易營收下滑的財報。

該消息人士說，花旗在與投資人的討論中強調，交易減緩是所有業者都遭遇的問題。部分投資人認為，營收減少可能高達逾10%。花旗拒對這個數字表示意見。

花旗的營運特別倚重利率和外匯產品，對新興市場的曝險在美國銀行業中也最大。然而近幾個月來，利率和外匯交易疲弱不振，新興市場也面臨資金外逃和貨幣下跌的難關。

花旗預定10月15日公布第3季財報，不如預期的表現將是花旗執行長高沛德（Michael Corbat）嘗試扭轉營運的一大挫敗，但將不致危及他今年的獲利目標。
