在Google傳聞將於10月14日於美國地區公布新版Android 4.4「KitKat」後，其實有不少新Nexus手機與新版作業系統消息陸續曝光，目前也有更具體關於Android 4.4實際介面曝光，包含將回歸藍色調基色、拍照新增多項濾片，並且加入Drive、Keep作為預設App等。

根據gadgethelpline部落格表示，近期取得疑似仍為開發階段的新版Android 4.4作業系統，其中有不少部分仍帶有先前採用「Key Lime Pie」時的名稱，同時整體仍保留不少Jelly Bean版本時的功能，例如多組帳號登入、訊息提示模式等。至於先前提到將基本色調更改為藍色的設計，在撥號介面中均已改為藍色色調。

在新功能部分，新版Android 4.4將加入列印與第三方支付設定選項，前者似乎將整合Google Print服務，後者則似乎將允許第三方App透過手機NFC功能執行金融交易。此外，為了與蘋果AirPlay功能競爭，新版Android 4.4也將進一步整合Miracast無線串流功能。

而針對原本行動網路流量控管部分，新版本中也將提供設定管理App在背景透過行動網路傳遞封包，避免造成不必要的額外網路傳輸費用。

至於在拍照功能部分，除了原本的拍攝風格濾片，在Android 4.4中也將加入更多濾片內容，並且提供更多色調調整與影像編修功能，同時在進階拍照模式也將整合新版操作介面設計。

最後，如同Android 4.1版本後將Chrome for Android、Google Play Movies、Google Play Magzines等App列為預設項目，在Android 4.4版本將另外加入Google Drive、Google Keep，以及Quickoffice作為預設App內容，讓使用者能更方便透過行動裝置編修、儲存文件 (目前仍須透過手動下載安裝)。

目前由gadgethelpline部落格曝光的Android 4.4介面仍為開發階段，因此實際公布內容可能將有所不同，基本上還是要以Google接下來公布內容為準。
