滿壘危機 阿中三振蛇軍主砲

釀酒人隊7日在主場與響尾蛇的比賽，台灣左投王維中再度登板，這次上場他展現化解危機的能力，雖然上演兩人出局滿壘的「劇場」，但是重要時刻將蛇軍第四棒，同時也是主砲的孟提羅(Miguel Montero)三振，以無失分化解危機。可惜釀酒人無力反攻，5比7輸球，王維中想拿大聯盟首勝得再等等。

前7局結束釀酒人原本以4比5落後，8局上響尾蛇突然發動攻勢，希爾(Aaron Hill)在壘上有兩個人的情況之下揮出三分打點全壘打，讓原本落後的蛇軍瞬間取得7比5領先。9局上釀酒人派出王維中，除了考驗他之外，也期望他能夠凍結比分，使球隊還能有反攻的機會。

王維中面對第一位打者英席亞特(Ender Inciarte)，用三個直球就讓他擊出飛球被接殺，接下來被查維茲(Eric Chavez)敲安，保送帕拉(Gerardo Parra)之後，再解決強打歐文斯(Chris Owings)形成兩人出局，不過後來被葛登施密特(Paul Goldschmidt)敲安，形成滿壘局面。

在滿時面對第四棒孟提羅，王維中第一球投78英哩曲球，被擊成界外，接下來投出個人在本場最快的94英哩，不過是偏高的壞球，此時王維中發揮直球尾勁，92英哩速球讓對方揮空之後，一樣用92英哩速球對決，孟提羅仍未能掌握再度揮空，「阿中」在有驚無險中解決該半局。

9局下王維中原有機會上場打擊，教練決定換代打，使他「大聯盟初打擊」還得再等等。最後釀酒人隊三上三下，以兩分之差落敗，王維中無關勝負；此役他投1局用18球，其中有12球是好球，被擊出2支安打，另有1個保送，所幸最後三振解危沒有失分，防禦率也下降至12.86。
