監察院下午由監委馬秀如（左起）、李炳南、趙榮耀舉行記者會，針對已故將軍孫立人當年遭九人小組調查始末，以及監院報告結果為何塵封多年進行說明，根據文獻顯示，孫立人是在身邊親信一一被指控有親共作為，被迫請辭參軍長的職務，當年的監院報告則因與當局發表意見相左，而被密存於監院資料庫。
