蘋果失策？庫克坦承：iPhone 5c銷量比重不如預期

蘋果 (Apple)(AAPL-US) 週一 (27 日) 盤後公布上季 iPhone 智慧手機銷量，結果不如市場預期。儘管其並未透露不同版本 iPhone 各別銷量，但蘋果執行長庫克 (Tim Cook) 在法說會上坦承，低階版的 iPhone 5c 銷量比重低於公司預期。

蘋果盤後公布，年度第一季僅賣出 5100 萬支 iPhone，儘管再創單季銷售新高紀錄，但不如市場預期的 5500 萬支。公司整體毛利率也由一年前的 38.6% 降至 37.9%。

《Apple Insider》報導，庫克在財報會上表示，去年 9 月推出的 iPhone 5c 需求所佔比重「結果與我們想的不同」。當被問到原因為何，庫克認為單純是因為消費者比較受到同時推出的高階新版旗艦手機 iPhone 5s 吸引。

中階版的 iPhone 5c 大小與 5s 相同，但採用塑膠機殼，配備的硬體規格等級也較低。庫克說，消費者較受到 5s 能提供的 Touch ID 指紋辨識功能吸引，「這是令人興奮的一個主要功能」。
